Course Overview

Our IB Biology is a rigorous and inquiry-based course that explores the structure, function, growth, origin, evolution, and interrelationships of living organisms. Students develop a deep understanding of core topics such as cells, genetics, ecology, and human physiology, while also learning to apply scientific methods and analyze real-world biological data. The course encourages critical thinking and scientific literacy through practical experiments, data interpretation, and evidence-based conclusions.

Designed for students aiming for university-level science or health-related programs, IB Biology also strengthens problem-solving and research skills. Internal Assessments (IAs) allow students to explore biology topics of personal interest, while external exams challenge them to synthesize knowledge across units. With a balance of theory and hands-on learning, the course equips students to succeed in both academic and practical settings.
