IB Chemistry (Year 2)

IB Chemistry (Year 2)

We aim perfect 7!

Our IB Chemistry (Year 2) course is designed to help students conquer advanced topics including organic chemistry, acids and bases, and redox processes, while refining their analytical and practical skills. Building on Year 1 foundations, we dive deeper into the IB syllabus, ensuring complete readiness for exams and the Internal Assessment.

Students will develop powerful exam strategies to tackle challenging IB questions, including data analysis, experimental techniques, and structured problem-solving approaches. Our lessons emphasize both conceptual mastery and practical application, preparing students for Paper 1, Paper 2, and the IA.

Our Proven 3-Step

1. Skill Assessment Trial

We begin with a discounted trial lesson to evaluate your child’s current strengths and learning needs. This session helps us understand their academic level and learning style.

2. Personalized Plan

Based on the assessment, we design a tailored learning plan aligned with the student’s goals, school curriculum, and timeline. This session is customized to maximize progress and build long-term confidence.

3. Score Boosting

Through expert-led lessons, timed drills, and real exam practice, students build mastery. We track progress consistently to ensure steady score improvement toward 2400.

Course Overview

Our IB Chemistry (Year 2) core course strengthens understanding of advanced topics like organic chemistry, acids and bases, and redox processes while reinforcing Year 1 fundamentals. We ensure students master complex concepts through targeted reviews, bridging any gaps to build unshakable confidence for exams and the Internal Assessment.

Students gain powerful subject-specific strategies for tackling IB exams, including time management, data interpretation frameworks, and high-scoring response structures. We break down mark schemes to teach exact expectations for Papers 1-3, while honing experimental design skills crucial for the IA.
