Alice E. McKay
English

Alice is a dynamic and inspiring educator who tailors her teaching to ignite creativity and confidence in every student. She fosters independent thinking and self expression by guiding students through interactive drama exercises, thought provoking discussions, and collaborative projects.

Megan Dooley
English

Ms. Megan Dooley is an experienced and passionate Native English Teacher who has worked extensively with young learners across Hong Kong. Having received her own education in both the United States and Canada, she brings an authentic understanding of Western learning environments and values.

Jay Khilnani
English, Math & Science

Jay adapts to his students' needs, and his teaching style is calm, engaging, and interactive. He uses real-world analogies and examples to help reinforce concepts and ideas which are new to his students, and he helps students find their own answers.

 

Jay graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the City University of New York with Magna Cum Laude honors.

 

Upon relocating to Hong Kong, he provided tutoring services to students from DGS, St Clare's Girls' School, and Ying Wa Girls' School to prepare them for the DSE English examination during the initial years of its introduction.

 

With 10 years of teaching experienice, Jay has excelled in instructing the following subjects:

Jay's personal interests span from third-wave coffee and Chinese tea culture to strength training, and Southeast Asian and South Asian history

 

Jay has always wanted to make a difference in the world, and he loves to help people. He got his start with teaching at the City University of New York - York College as a writing tutor, and feels teaching is the best fit for his personality type.

Paul Yue
English, Modern Languages

Paul Yue is an accomplished international educator with more than thirty years of teaching experience in Hong Kong and the UK. He holds a B.A. (Hons) in French and German from the University of Salford, a Master’s degree in European Business from the University of the West of England, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Greenwich.

Luke Palmer
English, Math & Science

Luke Palmer is an experienced international educator with a strong background in science and over a decade of teaching and academic leadership experience across Hong Kong and the UK. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Sunderland and a Master of Philosophy from the University of Liverpool, where he conducted pharmacological research on HIV treatment toxicity.

David Liang
English, Others

David is a highly experienced IB English Langlit/Literature and IGCSE (Edexcel/CIE) educator, with additional expertise in French and German as secondary languages. Holding an M.A. in English Literature from London.

Rachel Sajjad
English, Math & Science

Rachel holds a BSc in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology from the University of Hong Kong. She is a certified TEFL teacher, recognized internationally through certifications in TEFL and TEFL-UK.

Cici Fan
English

Cici is an excellent teacher who assesses each student's individual needs and adapts her teaching style accordingly. She does not believe in spoon-feeding and instead encourages her students to think independently. She achieves this by asking a lot of questions to get the student to reason and come up with their own answers before sharing her own thoughts.

Denise Hong
English

Denise S. Hong is an experienced English tutor with a strong background in teaching students across a wide range of levels and abilities. With a BA in English from City University of Hong Kong and a TEFL/TESOL Level 5 certification, she has taught at kindergartens, primary, and secondary schools, as well as in one-on-one and small group settings

Larry So
Math & Science

Larry holds an M.Eng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and a M.A. in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Princeton University. Larry has several years of experience teaching IB students Mathematics and Physics, and has also served as a teaching assistant at the graduate level.

Fabio is a highly organized teacher who carefully plans his lessons based on a comprehensive evaluation of the student's learning objectives. He avoids using a "lecture" style approach and instead engages his students through interactive Q&A sessions, short tasks, and relevant examples to facilitate their learning and comprehension process.

Talha earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from City University of Hong Kong, with a minor in Business Economics. At present, he holds a teaching position in an esteemed US curriculum international school situated in Hong Kong

Vivi holds a B.S. degree from Fudan University, majoring in Environmental Science, and she furthered her education with an M.S. in Environmental Science at the University of Virginia, and a Ph.D. in Earth Science at the University of California, San Diego.
