We begin with a discounted trial lesson to evaluate your child’s current strengths and weaknesses. The trial includes a diagnostic test and academic level and learning style.
Based on the assessment, we design a tailored learning and planning path that considers the student’s goals, school curriculum, and timeline. This sets students up to maximize progress and build long-term confidence.
Through expert-led lessons, timed drills, and real exam practice, students build mastery. We track progress consistently to ensure steady score improvement toward 2400.
Aether Education’s SSAT Boot Camp is an intensive 40-hour program designed to equip students with the skills and strategies needed to excel in the SSAT exam.
The course combines our SSAT Essentials and SSAT High-Performance strategies for a full learning experience. On comprehensive test preparation, students will engage in both group lessons and personalized tutoring. We begin with a diagnostic test and curriculum-based reading and math modules to build confidence and improve test scores.
Additionally, the program emphasizes vocabulary enhancement, grammar, and strategic reading. Students are provided with a structured workbook and required to bring their own laptop or iPad to facilitate maximized learning sessions.

Tim’s decade of teaching experience, textbook publications, and four advanced degrees make him The Edge’s sage of math and physics. Learn from the master. Tim got his BSc in Mathematics from the University College London, MSc in Meteorology from the University of Reading, PhD in Physics from the City University of Hong Kong and PGDE in Science from The Hong Kong Institute of Education.
Alice is a dynamic and inspiring educator who tailors her teaching to ignite creativity and confidence in every student. She fosters independent thinking and self-expression by guiding students through interactive drama exercises, thought-provoking discussions, and collaborative projects. Alice is a distinguished professional with a Licentiate Teaching Diploma in Speech & Drama from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and a Certificate in Education from the University of Brighton.
Jay adapts to his students’ needs and his teaching style is engaging, and interactive. He uses real-world analogies and examples to help reinforce concepts and ideas which are new to his students. Jay graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the City University of New York, Magna Cum Laude honors. Upon relocating to Hong Kong, Jay provided tutoring services to students from DGS, St. Clare’s Girls’ School, and Ying Wa Girls’ School to prepare them for the DSE English examination during the initial years of its introduction.
