Samuel is a dedicated economics tutor who decided to make economics teaching his lifetime career. 17 years teaching experience helps to develop and improve his teaching skills which allows him to adapt to students of different abilities and aptitudes and adjusts teaching methods accordingly. Using meaningful analogies for real-world problems is a typical teaching method used by Samuel. This helps to explain technical ideas and facilitates students to comprehend much easier.

Samuel is a born and bred Hong Kong citizen but led a rather peripatetic lifestyles in his early years. He went to different schools in America and Asia and was recruited by Singaporean National Library Board as a public librarian. Academically, Samuel obtained an academic merit-based tuition waiver from Illinois State to read for a master degree in economics at a state university. He also graduated from the City University of New York and received a master degree of library and information studies with a good grade point average and finished the two-year program in just two semesters. Samuel was also sponsored by the Singaporean government to receive training at the Nanyang Technological University as well.  

Samuel has been tutoring students in different economics curriculums typically IB economics and other international syllabuses such as IGCSE, A Level and AP economics since 2008. He also published a study guide to IB economics in 2010 which is still searchable at WorldCat.org that locate trustworthy printed titles globally.

With 19 years of teaching experience and 17 of which in economics, Samuel has taught more than 600 students while many of them were admitted to top universities such as Wharton School, LSE, Columbia University, Berkeley, Cornell and Cambridge University etc., In fact, he has maintained long-term and reliable working relationships with different education centers. This vindicates his reliability and aptitude as an economics tutor.
