Terms of Service
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Aether (HK) Company Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), an education tutorial and admissions consulting company based in Hong Kong. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Services Offered
We provide educational tutorials and admissions consulting services, including but not limited to:

Academic tutoring in various subjects
a) Test preparation services
b) Admissions consulting for schools and universities
c) Workshops and seminars

3. Registration and Account
To access certain services, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

a) Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
b) Keep your account information up to date.
c)Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
d) Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Payment Terms
Tuition Fees: All tuition fees must be fully settled before the first class or meeting.

Admission Consulting: Terms for admission consulting services will follow the student contract, which will be provided upon registration.

Payments can be made through the accepted methods outlined on our website.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund.

No refunds will be provided for missed appointments or late cancellations.

Typhoon Signal 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning Policy:

If the Hong Kong Observatory issues a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or a Black Rainstorm Warning during or within 2 hours before a scheduled session:

In-person classes: Automatically cancelled and rescheduled at no cost.

Online classes: Will proceed unless otherwise notified by the instructor.

Resumption of Classes:

All classes will resume 2 hours after the Typhoon Signal 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning is lowered or canceled.

No impact for lower signals:

Classes operate as normal during Typhoon Signal 1, 3, or Yellow/Red Rainstorm Warnings.

6. Class Credits and Scheduling
Credits/classes purchased are non-transferable and must be used within the specified expiry date or according to the scheduled time.

No rescheduling of classes is permitted beyond 2 weeks of the scheduled date.

Students may reschedule one class per calendar month; additional rescheduling will incur a $250 administrative fee per class.

7. Media Consent
We may take pictures or videos during classes, seminars, workshops, or other activities hosted by us. By enrolling, you consent to the use of these images for our marketing purposes. Parents or guardians of minors agree to provide consent for the use of their or their children’s images.

8. User Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

a) Violating any applicable laws or regulations.
b) Harassing or harming others.
c) Using our services for any unauthorized or illegal purpose.

9. Personal Data and Privacy
We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Hong Kong and the policies outlined on our website. Please refer to our PCPD policy on our website for more details.

10. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and services provided by the Company are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong.

13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Force Majeure & Weather Policy
The Company is not liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

a) Typhoons, rainstorms, or other severe weather conditions.

b) Government directives, pandemics, or natural disasters.

c) Infrastructure failures (e.g., power outages, internet disruptions).

Rescheduling:

a) Affected sessions will be rescheduled promptly. Credits will not expire due to force majeure events.

b) Communication: Updates will be sent via email/SMS within 2 hours of the session time if changes occur.

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
